File:PrestonCitiLogo.jpg listed for deletion

[edit]

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, File:PrestonCitiLogo.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 20:32, 22 May 2009 (UTC) Yes, you're right about that. Originally I'd uploaded it to use it in one page, but then I realised it was too blurry, but didn't know how to delete it. How do I delete it? (MJLRGS (talk) 14:40, 26 May 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Preston, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.  Dr Greg  talk  14:53, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blackpool Transport

[edit]

Hello, unfortunately I had to revert your changes to this article. There wasn't enough verifiability, too much original research and not enough citing of sources. If you'd like to add a Competition section, I'd recommend keeping it as basic as possible: mention the competitor, which areas they "compete" in, that should do it. Unless you can find a source that verifies what you said about the council's reliability and low-floor concerns. Divy (talk) 19:15, 16 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

information on the schengen zone

[edit]

hi, i just noticed your edit on date of cyprus accession to the schengen.i will be much grateful if you let me on your source of information.i await your response thanks¬¬¬¬sinbadgh —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sinbadgh (talkcontribs) 17:35, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I saw it on some other Wikipedia page. Currently, I am not able to find it, so it probably would be suitable to remove it until I can find that page, so I will now undo it and if I come accross that page I will change it again and put in the citation. Thank you.

Hi, I have tagged your article for needing references, becuse it might otherwise be considered original research. Ideally, each entry should prefereably have a reference to the coutry's Road Traffic Law or equivalent. I'm saying this because in the case of at least one country I was let to be in serious doubt as to its accuracdey. I also suggest that until you have extended the article to cover other countries, that it might be an idea t move it to List of European countries by minimum driving age.--Kudpung (talk) 13:26, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your tag. I started making the page this morning and started with Europe, but I will add sections for other continents. I will include references. Thank you.
Thanks. I think this is a valuable list, it's one which I would look something up in. The wrong information about Germany was what made me discuss it with you. Have you ever thought of making a list of countries that drive on the left?--Kudpung (talk) 10:13, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good Idea! And on that it would be much easier to find sources. I'll start on it ASAP! Thank you! --MJLRGS (talk) 10:29, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have found that the lists for countries driving on the left and countries driving on the right already exist. Right- and left-hand traffic#Jurisdictions with left-hand traffic. The list of countries driving on the left is below.--MJLRGS (talk) 14:39, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article International cricket in 2012 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Blatantly future event - doesn't even start until April 2012!

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. There is currently a discussion on the Talk page of the above article as to whether the fleet table should be removed. As someone who has made a number of contributions to the article it would be good to have your input. Thanks. Rangoon11 (talk) 13:38, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Preston, Lancashire, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page PIO (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
